Last of the Fabric

I went here today (heaven)...

I was looking in general. They have such pretty fabrics. And I was looking for something for a dance bag to sell at the shop I will open at Etsy soon. I finally found a precious fabric with toe shoes on it in a peachy color. I had a hard time finding a coordinating fabric because all the other pinks were to pinky. I ended up with a totally different color. But you will just have to wait to see when I post pics of the finished project. And the cute ballet fabric, it was the very last of it! I might have to look on Ebay or something to see if someone still has it.

Today I'm going to another shop (or two) while my daughter is in ballet class to see if maybe they have that fabric! It is a Robert Kaufman fabric called "Sugar and Spice". I made a drawstring little dance bag but I'm not too happy with how the drawstrings work. Maybe I will have to break down and actually buy a pattern or two for totes! I really enjoy making them "freestyle" though. But I must admit I've looked at some totes and back engineered them in my head. I haven't used an actual pattern for a while except to make a stuffed bunny.
