The two bags I was showing off are now listed on Etsy. If you liked one, go take a look!
Secondly I am just thrilled. I got an invite in the mail today for a baby shower. I've been wanting to make a diaper bag for some time now. So I did a Google search for diaper bag patterns and found Craftapple Blog. The link goes right to her pattern.
I was contemplating Amy Butler's diaper bag pattern, but I personally find this one prettier. So I bought it. I convo'd the seller and what a lovely woman! My connection to Etsy is not working on my computer, but you can find her Etsy shop link on her blog. Oh, and here is her independent store.
I may not post pictures here of the finished bag because who knows who reads this and might spill the beans on the gift, or may be receiving one similar.
I am now also working on some hand applique. I WILL post that (if it turns out decent).

Hi Sunny Kristi! I think I've found a fellow bagaholic! :o) I've been making other stuff lately, but bags are my first love. Your business card is great! I've put a ruffle on the top of a bag once, but I put the handles on the outside. I like the look of them on the inside. Very pretty!
I'm glad I could give you a new idea. I really liked your tutorial on putting on magnetic snaps. I was doing almost everything except making the button holes to reinforce the holes. Great idea!
If you decide to make more diaper bags please let me know. I'm having my fifth child in February and have decided that the time has come to go completely frivolous and fun, instead of boring and utilitarian, when it comes to diaper bags. I love your handbags too.
Well, I can't sell any from this pattern because it is copyrighted. But I don't like to sell anything that isn't my original design anyway. But I can try to put a pattern of my own together and see what we come up with. Thanks for the compliment about my bags! :-)
