I'm so excited. I learned a lot more about making a customized blog/banner today. While I used a free stock background, I made my own banner using digital scrapbook supplies (freebies). And someday I will try my hand at a custom background. Thank-you Jason for figuring out how to open RAR files...
We are thinking about starting something new over here (blog? store?). Jason and I. So with that I'll leave you hanging and get back to you later if things pan out.

Hey, why don't you think about painting your natural wood mantel...BLACK! I think that would look great in your room & add a lot to the look. Your brick isn't bad. You saw that fireplace makeover on my latest redesign right, I thought changing the brick & painting the mantel black really changed their look tremendously. I do think your's would look great black too. Just leave the brick alone & paint the mantel.
Also, I'd get a larger piece of artwork above the fireplace & not use as much below on either side. Use larger pieces right on the mantel. More impact that way!
