Dishes

Early this year we decided to invest in some handmade everyday dishes. We started out with a potter we found in our very own town. He made the large dinner plates and cereal bowls - copper red "Oscar" (Neil Estrick). We then picked out some other pieces at Material Possessions in Chicago (and Winnetka).

The salad/dessert glass plates "Versailles" are by Portieux (pressed glass made in France).

The stew bowls "Morning Glory" in fawn are made by Alice Goldsmith. .

Finally the small lunch and appetizer plates are by Kotobuki. They were kind of a last minute decision.

The place mats, napkins and napkin rings were identical to some we found and liked at Material Possessions, but much less expensive. Place mats (chargers really) and napkins from Pottery Barn. Napkin rings from Macy's.
