I love this sweet birdie fabric and the color is so delicious and refreshing. It reminds me of lemon yogurt. I made myself a bag with the same material but it is not as nice as this one!! I got a little crazy with the liner, but it's so cute!
Here's the hand embroidery. It is a design from the book Cottage Charms by Art to Heart. I have found that a good time to work on this (the hand stitching) is while waiting in the car to pick up Ella from preschool.
I received 2 of the 3 fabrics I ordered for Ella's dress. I can't wait!!

Love the bird bag--that bird fabric is so cute! It's cool that you make all the pockets inside and the cute frilly flounce at the top. Your hand embroidery looks pretty darn good for a first attempt, it looks like you've been doing it for AGES!
