Busytime Coming

For the most part, I enjoy keeping busy. A lot of business is coming up and I am a little fearful of the let down at the end of it all. Tomorrow is a Mother's Day dinner for TMC, Friday is Mother's Night at Ella's preschool. Saturday is class 2 for the Dad's dance for the recital. Monday is Ella's last dance class and the last dance class for the girls I teach. Thursday is a cookout party for the last week of TMC. Friday is dress rehearsal for the recital. Saturday is the recital. The last week of May will be the last week of preschool and the last week of Spanish class. There will also be a picnic for preschool and the first weekend of June I'll be having a garage sale with my friend Gail. And then the lack of things to do, the lack of routine, the lack of things to keep my mind off our our situation will dwindle down. Maybe we'll be able to play a lot outside, maybe I'll get a lot of sewing done. I don't know. Maybe Jason will have found a job. Maybe we will have to be making changes for that. So maybe I should stop complaining and just take things one day at a time!

Kristi,

With everything that has been going on around here I somehow missed that Jason had lost his job. :-(

I am sure that is stressful for you both, and I hope it resolves soon.

Thinking of you all.

Sounds like you have a really busy next couple weeks. Wow. I say, focus on what you can. Give yourself a little time to recuperate. And next thing you know, you'll have another few weeks of plans!

Taking it one day at a time is a really good thing to do. Some things we can control, some we can't. I'm learning that lesson myself.
